Most people go back to the same few suppliers. Not because they're always the best fit, but because finding anyone else means days of calls, unanswered emails and quotes you can't sensibly compare, and nobody has the days to spare.
So the search doesn't happen, and you never quite find out what else was available.

We search, then we ring people
We use trade knowledge, existing relationships and direct research to find who might genuinely fit, then we speak to them. Every supplier we recommend will have been contacted directly about your brief.

You get a clear comparison
The relevant options set side by side: each report outlines capability, availability, lead time, price basis and any caveats we think you should know. What you do next is entirely your call.
What you actually get
The result isn't always a cheaper price.
Sometimes it's a maker better suited to the drawing. Sometimes it's a shorter lead time, or a supplier who's actually local to the site, and delivers. Sometimes it's a second option so you're not dependent on one workshop. And sometimes it's simply confirmation that what you're already paying is fair, which is worth knowing too.
What happens when you get in touch
- We read your brief and reply, usually within two working days.
- If it isn't something we can help with, we'll say so straight away.
- The first conversation costs nothing. We agree the fee before any work begins.
- Your drawings and client details are only shared with suppliers where necessary, and with your agreement.
How we price
Every brief is different, so every price is too.
Some projects mean finding one supplier for one job. Others mean researching across a whole build or supply chain. So we start with a conversation: you tell us what you need, we tell you honestly what it will take, and we agree the fee before anything begins.
Clear Tender takes no payment from the suppliers it introduces.
